20 ENCOURAGING SCRIPTURES EVERY CHRISTIAN MOMPRENEUR NEEDS

We are called to be the salt of the earth to a dying world that is thirsty for love, kindness and compassion. As Christians, we are called to flavor this world with the love of Jesus so others crave more of Him but even in our own daily lives with hectic schedules and our own internal struggles, we need to cling to scripture to keep our spiritual cups from drying up.

As you read through these scriptures, don’t just skim over them and move on. I want to challenge you to get out your Bible and read the word of God for yourself. To take time to meditate on these verses, to dig deeper into what they mean for your life, business and spiritual growth in this moment.

To meditate on scripture is to ponder the Word not only with our minds but also with our hearts, preaching it to our own souls, and personally applying it to our own lives, business and circumstances. Meditation is how we sanctify our thinking, bring our thoughts into submission to Christ and take every thought captive.

In Psalm 143:5, when David is overwhelmed with trouble, he turns his thoughts to meditate on God’s goodness:

“I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the work of your hands”

When my life feels off balance, when I experience times of struggle and overwhelm, I, like David, find encouragement, strength and hope in the Lord. I hope these 20 verses will encourage you as a Christian mompreneur. Pin them to your Pinterest board, post them on social media and share your own thoughts with your network and how God is moving in your life, share with a friend to encourage her in the season she is walking.

Not only do I pray these verses encourage you in times of need but also in times of praise. We may not always have the answers but we can trust Him to work all things for our good.
